What the drills work toward
Notes: given a name, press every key with that name in under 3 s.
Chords: given a triad, play a root-position voicing in the middle register in under 5 s.
Progressions: play one in time at 60 BPM with smooth voicings and at most one miss per cycle.
Melodies: play a short one back at 60 BPM with at most one wrong note.
Scales: a major scale one octave up and down with standard fingering.
7ths: given a 7th chord, play a voicing in under 5 s.
